The Kids Garden English Preschool programme has been developed around various topics that change every two weeks. The topics are based on the curriculum (friends, family, town, toys, animals, plants, colours, shapes, etc.), and also are matching the different seasons (autumn, winter, spring, summer, Halloween, Christmas, Easter and so on). Greater part of our activities are then connected with the topics (plays, songs, stories, creative art).
The following is a list of basic activities to which the topics are applied:
Children start the new day in circle at our school symbol - the swing. We talk about the previous day and about the day ahead.
Involves various language learning activities - games, pictionary, and other activities to enhance vocabulary knowledge and to develop communication skills.
Children learn new songs, nursery rhymes, poems, they sing, dance and play musical instruments.
Children are introduced to a story, they re-tell it, and use it in role playing.
Children use creatively a variety of materials and art techniques, encouraging their imagination and creative talent
Exercise and other activities in our school garden or walks around the school surroundings.
